Engineering Custom Undercarriage for Forestry Equipment
We partner with OEMs to design and develop track systems for harvesters, skidders, mulchers, and forwarders. Based on proven excavator/dozer platforms – built for your specific forestry application.
Complete Undercarriage Kit Supply
Engineering Capabilities for Your Undercarriage
We don’t just supply components. We engineer a complete track system that matches your equipment’s weight, power, and operating environment.
-
Complete Track System Matching
Not individual parts. We design a fully integrated undercarriage chains, rollers, idlers, sprockets and track shoes balanced to your machine’s specific weight, horsepower, and ground conditions.
-
Customized Chain Pitch Configuration
Chain pitch, roller spacing, and number of rollers are determined by your equipment’s traction needs and frame dimensions. We calculate and recommend the optimal layout for stability and wear life.
-
Forest-Ready Materials & Sealing
For muddy, abrasive, or debris-heavy forestry conditions: we specify wear-resistant steel (NM400, Hardox), anti-entanglement track guard options, and high-durability floating seals for rollers and idlers.
-
From Requirement to Drawing
Provide your equipment specs (weight, speed, gradeability, track frame envelope). We deliver a 3D CAD proposal within 2 weeks, ready for your engineering review.
WHY OEMS NEED CUSTOMIZED CHASSIS
Forestry applications involve harsh conditions such as mud, tree roots, and steep slopes, where standard undercarriage systems often fail to provide sufficient durability.
We provide working condition simulation analysis and material selection recommendations, such as wear-resistant steel and anti-entanglement design.
The undercarriage design process often becomes a bottleneck in fast-paced new product development.
Our engineering team is involved from the early stage, delivering concept solutions within 3 days and providing 3D models within 2 weeks.
It is difficult to find undercarriage suppliers willing to support small-batch trial production.
We support the production of 1–5 prototype units for OEMs for on-machine testing.
There is a lack of engineering communication with existing suppliers, who mainly focus on build-to-print manufacturing.
We provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback to optimize the integration between the machine and the undercarriage.
Custom Drawing & Design Support
- Provide production based on customer drawings
- Modify existing designs to fit different working conditions
- Create new drawings from worn samples
Send us your drawing or sample — we turn it into production-ready parts fast.
Our R&D design process
1. Requirements Communication: The OEM provides key specifications of the target equipment, including weight, dimensions, operating conditions, and expected service life.
2. Concept Design: We develop the undercarriage system solution, including track pitch, number of bottom rollers, and sprocket tooth profile.
3. Engineering Validation: Finite element analysis (FEA) and durability simulation.
4. Prototype Production: 1–5 prototype units for OEM installation and machine testing.
5. Testing Feedback: Optimize the design based on test data.

FAQ(R&D Collaboration)
Do you only design excavator chassis, or can you also develop chassis for forestry harvesters?
Our core expertise lies in designing tracked chassis systems, not limited to specific equipment types. As long as the target equipment’s weight, size, and operating requirements are provided, we can customize and develop chassis accordingly.
We are a small forestry OEM and only have concept drawings. Can you help design the chassis?
Yes, we can. We can assist from the concept stage, helping with chassis structural design, engineering analysis, and prototype manufacturing.
What is the minimum order quantity for prototypes?
One set is sufficient. We support small-batch prototypes for testing purposes.
Do you have existing models for forestry chassis?
We do not have pre-made "forestry chassis models" as each forestry equipment has different operational conditions. However, we have established excavator and bulldozer chassis platforms that can be quickly adapted to meet forestry requirements.
What is the typical R&D cycle?
The initial concept proposal takes 3-5 business days, detailed design takes 2-4 weeks, and prototype manufacturing takes 4-6 weeks (depending on complexity).
What information do we need to provide to start the collaboration?
We need the target equipment's total weight, dimensions (length, width, height), expected travel speed, maximum climbing gradient, working environment (mud, rocks, forest land), and expected service life.
